1. February 12, 2010 My Very First Bouquet Dangwa was packed by the time I got there and decided to go straight to DJ’s apartment instead since it was late and I was exhausted from work already. Upon arriving at DJ’s apartment, I quickly saw a bouquet of flowers lying on top of the couch. Thought it was belonged to his flatmate but he gave me a quick kiss and said “Happy Valentines Day!” So it was mine after all. Lol. It was my very first bouquet and it came with a the hot pink Parker pen that I wanted eversince I saw it on Joei’s blog. It contains 12 roses and 1 red gerbera. This totally made my day! Thank you, babe! I love you!

Anyway, I took a picture of these bunch of roses I saw in one of the stalls. Roses has always been a popular choice every Valentines Day. They are present in all of the stalls in Dangwa. It’s a classic beauty.

    Roses

    Mine is a Pink Gerbera, what’s yours?

    Dangwa Fever Begins.

    It’s such an upper to see flowers after a long day at work. DJ lives nearby Dangwa and since It’s Valentines week, i decided to take pictures of Dangwa for my daily photo this week because I just love how extra colorful Dangwa becomes during the month of love.

    For those who are not aware of what or where Dangwa is, it’s like a big flower market that is open 24 hours located in the street of/and around Dos Castillas . People from all walks of life would travel to Dangwa just to buy flowers for all types of occasions.

    Rockwell’s Bakers Fair

    This day was a blast. So many photos taken and it took me a while to decide which one to feature for my entry today. Anyway, I ended up choosing the one above. It’s from the Bakers Fair at Rockwell.

    It was the second time for me and DJ in the Bakers Fair. First time was May last year, I think. Anyway, what we enjoy about the fair is of course the free taste of most of the goodies being sold there. The first booth I went to was of course the infamous The Sweet Life by Ange for their Brazo de Mercedes with ice cream!!! The best Brazo i’ve ever had! Yum-oh.

    Then of course, I had to try the new flavors of Iya’s Jumbo Pastillas. I loved the yema-filled flavor!

    All booths were absolutely fantastic. I think the fair will be there during all the weekends of February so better drop by and try out the wonderful treats.

    The Colorful World of Tiendesitas

    Today, I went to Tiendesitas with DJ to have Lily Bun groomed. It takes about 2 hours for her to get all groomed up so we strolled around to kill time.

    I love gong to Tiendesitas. It’s such a festive looking place but still chill at the same time. So much goodies that showcase the wonders of the Philippines. The picture above is one of the many novelty shops in Tiendesitas. If only it wasn’t so far from my house, i’d probably go there more than once or twice a month.
